Established in 1982, Doncaster Music Centre has been one of the most prominent schools of music in Melbourne's Eastern suburbs for the past four decades. We specialise in guitar lessons, piano lessons, singing lessons, violin lessons, clarinet lessons, saxophone lessons, bass lessons and ukulele lessons. Situated in Jackson Court in Doncaster East, Doncaster Music Centre is ideally located for and sees many students from the surrounding communities of  Doncaster, Doncaster East, Templestowe, Box Hill, Blackburn, Donvale and Bulleen; although anyone is welcome.

Originally known as Ian Steeds School of Music, and later as Doncaster Music Centre, a rapport within the community and a philosophy focused on inspiring as well as educating has been developed over the years we have spent teaching in the community. There have even been several situations where parents who attended the school as children, are now bringing their own children to start music lessons!

From 5 years old to retirees, our one on one lessons ensure that the student progresses at their own pace, in a lesson tailored to both their needs and their interests.
